Season 4 Launch of 'It's Complicated' Podcast'

Tanya Goodin's digital detox podcast series ‘It’s Complicated’ is coming back for its eagerly awaited fourth season on UK Unplugging Day, 28th June 2020. UK Unplugging Day is a UK-wide 24 hour break from the digital world to enable us to disconnect from our devices and reconnect with our family, friends, loved ones and communities in real life. We all know lockdown has led to an increase in ’tech-time’, so what better excuse to take a well deserved screen break and disconnect from our phones.

The new season will be kicking off with Pete Reed, Triple Olympic Rowing Gold Medallist who was paralysed from the chest down after a spinal stroke in the latter part of 2019.

Confirmed guests so far for S4 are below, going with more scientists in this series to try and really uncover the science behind our behaviour online and what we can do to change our habits for the better.

Grace Beverley (Founder of BN_D Store, Shreddy & most recently sustainable activewear brand TALA)

Prof Emily Bell (director of the Tow Center for Digital Journalism at Columbia University) - talking about fake news and the ‘info-demic’ during Covid-19.

Jack Edwards (YouTuber and Founder of the Study Tube project ) - talking about learning online

Launched in 2019, the podcast features one-to-one interviews with high-profile individuals from the worlds of health, media, business and art, talking candidly about their phone habits and sharing tips & tricks that have worked for them to get a better screen-balanced life.

Season 3 featured guests such as Love Island Star & Good Morning Britain Health Editor Dr Alex George, Made in Chelsea Star Jamie Laing, Justin McLeod Founder of Hinge & James McVey Lead guitarist with The Vamps.
